TwinkBlood a DVD Review
The first Made for DVD project from BoyCrush Studios Twinkblood is a welcome return to delish story and plot in Gay Porn.
With the rise of Amateur porn in recent years many of us have noticed something has gone missing. A story, a hook used to be the setup in Gay Porn.
Sure they were simple plots, frequently corny and campy and sometimes just groaners but maybe they helped amp the sex a little, instead of two guys walk in a room and fuck, we had a little fantasy some motivation for the sex to follow.
We have lost most of this in porn in just the last five years!
BoyCrush Owner Bryan Kenny and his Production Manager Andy Kay set out to push back a little against the tide of Amateur Porn, maybe because BoyCrush was/is a pioneer in the Web Amateur style, perhaps they felt a need to experiment.
So the Verdict?
Damn impressive, Twinkblood has a campy,horror storyline and integrates this with some hot sex scenes, Bryan and Andy do not forget for one moment this is a porno film.
Twinkblood has a killer cast (okay now that cliche is out of the way) of young BoyCrush Twinks who just happen to be with one exception veteran and popular performers at the studio. Patrick Kennedy, Miles Pride,Philip Ashton,Chase Harding and new boy Felix Russo have fun, have some great sex and they all pull it off!
The challenge when you have the very sexual TrueBlood on HBO is giving the story of a Vampire King’s seduction a new twist, Chase Harding as the Twink Vampire King does just that. Chase is going to make some bitches and he is has fun with this part, giving just enough camp glee at corrupting a bevy of Twinks to make this a fun story.
Miles Pride is the 18 yo straight college student who moves in with Felix Russo and his GF, don’t laugh Felix is convincing here (and check the behind the scenes to see why) this is just the opening “Domestic Scene”. We switch to Club Forbidden (the BC boys real life hangout) where Chase Harding has a very drunk Patrick Kennedy on his way back to his lair er pad to meet the hot chicks and Party Hearty!
Riggghhhtt!
Chase soon has slurring Patrick in a hypnotic stare-down (I always loved the idea of Vampire Hypnosis) with a go down soon to follow. Kudos for the Glowing Eye effect just right with out being cheesy!
The Patrick Kennedy Sex scene with Chase is very good with fluid crosscutting between the two cameras, this is where both BoyCrush veterans long working association pays off. The scene is a Flip-Flop which I was thrilled to see the idea of the Vampire king being a total top is just too conventional thinking! I know some BoyCrush fans dis Patrick because of his persona on camera he realy shines here nad behind the scenes showing a playful side many of you might have missed.
My take on Patrick Kennedy he is the resident Stud in the Twink stable that is BoyCrush and he has always been a good performer, the fact he followed Jackson might be why some BC fans are critical. No matter with his recent foray into mainstream gay porn keep an eye on Patrick Kennedy the Gary Cooper of Twink Porn? Dont laugh the Enigmas always get my attention!
Twinkblood takes off with this first scene, a strong opening.
I was not crazy about the Miles Pride Solo scene that follows, it didnt seem to mesh with his being a straight dude unless we are meant to think he is confused. Miles is a fav and he does make the scene work Sexually, just to my mind not in the context of the storyline. Oh come on we all KNOW Solos are a problem, so we can gloss over this one. 
If the scene is meant to infoce Miles since of sexual frustration I can buy that esp with Felix and his GF banging in the next room.
Morning finds Miles of to class while Felix is ” home alone” sans GF when Chase Harding sneaks in, I wasn’t quite sure why Chase would pick Felix’s apartment for his next meal, I mean victim but you soon forget all about that!
Why?
Because the Chase Felix scene is the Best Damn Sex in the movie! Hell its the best Boy Crush scene this year!
There has been a lot of talk about BoyCrush Lolito Felix Russo just 18, made a BC Exclusive and touted as the answer to the legendary twink Angel (Boy Crush’s Charter Twink). This sexual encounter will have you convinced, Bryan KNOWS of what he speaks. Felix is a sexual creature, the look of ecstasy on his face leaves no doubt this 18 year old loves to bottom!
Chase is the consummate top here he knows how to push Felix to the edge over and over, I frequently noticed the sly satisfied glances from Chase letting on he was watching and playing Felix’s body, in full control here. As a seduction scene this works perfectly, its very obvious Chase is in Charge and Felix Russo would have it no other way!
The transitions in the scene work well we start out with gentle,tender erotic sex, then Chase begins pounding Felix harder on the couch,then another switch up with Felix riding Chase. the scene ends with Chase literally pounding this boy off the couch and into the floor. While a hard fucking is in the offing, Felix not only takes what Chase is giving but seems to crave the dick. That my friends is what transforms an ordinary bottom into an extraordinary find!
This long and hot scene ends with Felix riding Chase again on the couch until he explodes, I am afraid you will have done the same long before Felix Russo!
The Movie makes a turn into some dialog after the scene that sets up the Vamp Orgy that follows, I wont give the story away, but this is the part the whole cast has fun with. Some good sound and video effects punctuate the physical change in Felix who suddenly turns on Miles who returns home from school. Andy Kay makes a smart cameo as a Von Helsing type in a Trench Coat and I totally caught the in joke of the Pornographer in a Trench coat (sporting designer glasses)!
Some funny lines here as well since the notion of Vampires in the Arizona Sun seems as ludicrous to Miles as it does the audience. Hmm well Arizona does have copious numbers of Vampire bats so maybe its not so far-fetched! 
We have the set up for a Gang Bang (and damn Felix looks good running around shirtless) with all the Vamp Boys and one very vulnerable Miles Pride. Hmm this being a porno we know this will segue nicely into a Gang Fuck. Patrick Kennedy, Phillip Ashton, Felix and Chase Harding are menacing enough even for Twinks to pull this off.
I loved the Orgy its not everyday we get to see a TWINK ORGY!
Chase sits as the observer while his “Vamp Boys” do the dirty work of transforming a reluctant Miles into a Vamp Bitch! All while sipping Bloodwine, kudos for the orgy set full of candles and menacing pentagram the Virgin Busting chair turns out to be a weight bench which I appreciate! 
The scene sexually works well because its supposed to be rough and dark, you know and expect Miles to be plundered and he will enjoy it.(and so will you) Its fun to watch and all the guys here are great, the importance of using some studio veterans in an Orgy shows everyone knows instinctively what to do!
A standout here in the sex is Phillip Ashton who fucks Miles Pride hard, Phillip has always been the atypical Twink Top, he is in fine shape here and is known for plowing Twink bottoms without mercy!
I have to mention just because I know he will see this my ultimate Phillip Ashton Fantasy Sex scene is an Orgy where Phillip gets fucked hard by every bottom he has ever topped at Boy Crush! Yes we would all enjoy that!
With the exception of Phillip Ashton!
Technically the video is very good considering , the challenges of night filming and outdoor locations, Andy Kay supply’s an original score which is understated and just right for Twinkblood. I was impressed with the editing and fluid camera work as well.
To sum up here I was very pleased with this first effort at Thematic Video from BoyCrush, I hope Bryan Kenny and Andy Kay find this one profitable and I hope the fans want to see more.
