It was the last time I accepted a cheque for anything. Ultimately, the other lads were prepared to give up on the whole thing but I wouldn't take it lying down - as it were - and withheld my release form from him. I did some digging about and established what Rufus' real name was and even got the police to question him on defrauding myself and the others but I did not understand the law sufficiently and it all went nowhere... he still owes me £450 and I still want it - so if anyone knows where he is please reply to this thread with his address so I can go and collect some goods to the value of what I am owed....
